Current Track Obsession 🎧 Vol. VI (feb. 28- march 6)

Hello Spring! 🌷 Am I right? I feel like as soon as the calendar hit March I was like pack the boots and winter jackets up, I've had enough, I'm ready for white sneakers and bomber jackets! 😎 Until I walked outside and realized that it was still freezing... But I will say the sun has been shinning a bit more in Green Bay than it has as of late, so I am thankful for that!

.

First and foremost, I wanted to let you know about the one change I've made to Current Track Obsession, which is my headphone gear. 🎧 I've upgraded! This weekend I received my Vizliter #gifted pair of Bluetooth headphones and they are my number one obsession this week. 😍 And after recently learning my new phone does not come with a headphone jack, only took me four weeks to realize, and having to rely on Steven's hand-me-down headphones, I desperately needed rescue in the headphone department. πŸ˜…

.

Vizliter was my hero when my Stardust headphones showed up on my doorstep. ✨ And now, Steven, the tech guru, is jealous! πŸ˜‚ Listening to music with these TWS Deep Bass Wireless Headphones 5.0 is mind-blowing. 🀯 The songs on Current Track Obsession sound EVEN better than before. My favorite style feature is the LED color-changing Vizliter logo on the side of the earpiece. They are a steal for $38. πŸ’•

But okay, enough about my super, duper, awesome, and cool new headphones, let's get into the first sounds of Spring and March! β˜€πŸŽΆ

.

1. Aren't You - The Aces

* I am really happy to finally be bringing The Aces to Current Track Obsession. This group was listed as my Spotify 2020 Top Artist and for good reason! "Aren't You" is seriously no exception to this group releasing hit after hit. Their other new release "Sleepy Eyes" is pretty fantastic. Together this band creates music that is catchy and makes you want to dance, tracks that are unique and intriguing with fun melodies and lyrics. In all honesty, I could go on and on about these four. But, I HIGHLY suggest checking out their other songs "Stuck," "Lovin' Is Bible," and "Daydream." (But there are so many great hits!!!)

.

2. Kisses - Sidney Bird

* Okay, yes to all of this song is. Sidney's voice is powerful against a moody, electronic beat that creates a magical and cool symbiosis. I'm not familiar with Sidney Bird's other music, but this song gives me a feeling she's bound for great things. This is the PERFECT spring song to roll your windows down and sing to. We all need one of those songs!

.

3. Nothing To Lose - Saint Nomad

* This song takes the coolest track pize this week. I am loving everything Saint Nomad is giving me in this beat. It's edgy, modern and a little dark which makes it seductive in the very best ways. Also, the twists and turns in the tempo and style make it a guessing game all 2 minutes and 44 seconds. Give me more!!

.

4. Rush - BAYEM

*If you're not listening to BAYEM, you're going to want to change that. This week I had every intention and wrote this number 4 spot blurb about his song, "Pressure." It was all set to go until I said to myself, "Hm, let me listen to his latest release." My mind was instantly blown. "Rush" made me a believer, and it will make you one too, that this guy is the real deal. The laid-back beat and smooth melody matched with well-scripted lyrics truly make this track gold. So this is a two-part number 4, "Rush" and "Pressure" by BAYEM.

.

5. Swim - Haiva Ru

* Mood and vibes, mood and vibes. Literally, this is that song you put on driving home in the middle of the night with your sunroof open and the city lights paint the road, where you feel your emotions sinking in... Ya know? Or is that just something I do... 🀣 Regardless, Haiva Ru's melody makes your mind want to take a backseat and wander off to long-lost thoughts. Those are my favorite tracks.

.

I'm looking forward to blasting these while I spend the weekend packing and cleaning my apartment, and looking for a new home! πŸ“¦πŸ  They will help get me through!

.

As always, a reminder, each Thursday, right here at 12pm CST *time change!* (shortened Instagram blurb at 12pm CST also) I'll be sharing the names of 5 songs that are currently taking over my car stereo.
