Then check out these 8 shows! 📺

.
Steven and I are avid binge-watchers, in doing so we have seen A LOT of shows. 😅 And through the years there have been some real standouts! We're always shocked when we drop the name of a show we've come to love (and have probably watched through more than once) and no one knows what we're talking about. 😮
.
So, if you're looking for your next "Yes Netflix, I'm Still Here" series then look no further. Steven and I have got you covered! 💕 We will also let you know which streaming service to find it on. 😉
.
This week Steven and I are suggesting #8 light-hearted, feel-good, and filled with sappy moments comedies that we love...
.
#1 The Good Place - Netflix

This is by far one of Steven and my favorite shows of all time. You will get invested and it will make you feel all the feels. I mean Ted Danson and Kristen Bell are only part of what makes this show so spectacular, and that's saying something! It's SO funny with a ton of twists that keep the plot evolving organically and with suspense. It's a must-see.

#2 Schitts Creek - Netflix, IMDd TV, CW Seed

* I have no clue why it took so many of us this long to get on the Schitt's Creek bandwagon, myself included! It is by far the best thing I watched in 2020. The characters are so well constructed, Mora, played by the fabulous Catherine O'Hara, is my favorite just saying. The story is so fun, and the emotions are so real. Also, it has a musical episode, bonus! LIFE IS A CABARET!
-Show Has Ended-
#3 Community - Netflix, Amazon, Hulu

* If you're looking for a show that is jam-packed full of fun times, then Community is it! Steven and I have probably watched this show at least 3 times through. The coolest thing about this show, aside from the fantastic portrayal of friendships, is that every so often there is a specialty episode that is filmed in a certain style, I.E. Claymation, Apocalyptic, Western, Futuristic, etc. The paintball episodes are our favorites!
-Show Has Ended-
#4 SuperStore - Hulu, NBCUniversal. Peacock Premium

* I probably find this show on a different level of funny having worked in retail my entire adolescent life, but it's a show Steven and I both actively look forward to watching every Friday when a new episode hits Hulu. The episodes are short and sweet, deal with real issues facing us every day, and come with moments you'll find yourself ROTFL.
-Still Running. Catch it at 7:30pm on NBC or the next day on Hulu-
#5 Mr. Mayor - Hulu, NBCUniversal, Peacock

* This is the newest show on our list, having just premiered in January of this year. But so far we are obsessed! There's nothing Ted Danson can't do because he went right from the heavenly success of The Good Place and landed in Beverly Hills and is killing it once again. So far episodes have all been very light-hearted and full of good laughs.
-Still Running. Catch it at 7pm on NBC or the next day on Hulu-
#6 Space Force - Netflix

*If you love The Office you more than likely love Michael Scott. How can you not? Well, imagine if Michael Scott was running NASA... then add John Malkovich, Lisa Kudrow, and a little Jane Lynch and you might come somewhere close to the hilariousness that is Space Force. Oh, and I can't forget to mention the chimpanzee! Steven and I love anything astrology, so this comedy mashup with space is pretty sweet.
-Season One released on Netflix. Season Two Coming!!-
#7 The Mindy Project - Hulu

* Mindy Kaling truly shines as Mindy in The Mindy Project. It is in fact a whole lot of Mindy, and worth every moment. This show is so down to Earth and full of love. Mindy is such a relatable character and makes you feel like no matter what stage of life you're at, you're slaying it. I will say this show is more on the feminine side, but Steven definitely enjoys more parts than less.
-Show Has Ended-
#8 Veep -HBO Max, HBO Go

* I will preface this with the fact that Steven and I enjoy political shows, if you don't this might not be a show for you. BUT it's a quick watch that will keep you wanting more at the end. These characters are so quirky and working in the highest level government jobs, what could possibly go wrong? I also learned a little bit about the US Government along the way!

I do want to make note of the show you should watch immediately after finishing The Office and before you even start this list, Parks & Rec. 😍😍 Trust me, I adore The Office, but Parks & Rec has stolen my heart. It is more popular than most of the shows on our list, hence why it's an honorable mention. But go watch it if you haven't! And if you have, go watch it again. I might join you. 🤣
