Who else is kind of really excited for Christmas this year? I know I am! I feel like last year was such a weird celebration, so this year I'm ready to go HAM on all the Holiday traditions, experiences, and of course content!

One of my biggest tips when trying to come up with ideas for photoshoots is checking out small, fun, silly, creative, etc. holidays that come up in the month you're planning for!

So as you start planning your photo content for December, check out these 11 Fun Holidays you can celebrate before Christmas with a photoshoot to keep the spirit up all month long!

1 , 2 , 3 . 12/4: 🕯Candle, 🧦Sock, and ❄Earmuff Day
It's true great things come in three, especially in December. Celebrate this upcoming Saturday with a photoshoot featuring these fantastic holiday props! I think you get bonus points from the IG Gods if you use all three in one photo. 😂

4 . 12/5: Bathtub Party Day 🛁
I mean a party in your bathtub honestly sounds like the perfect thing after a cold winter day! Plus, it makes the cutest photo setup! And if you want to make it more holiday opt for Christmas color décor and a sparkly outfit!

5 . 12/7: Letter 📧 Writing 📝 Day
I find that this time of year a Holiday Card or Letter is the perfect gift especially for those loved ones you are not able to see this year! Hit two birds with one stone, a thoughtful letter for someone special, and a beautiful photo for your socials to encourage others to do the same! (P.S. Don't forget to stamp it and put it in the mail when you're done!)

6 . 12/11: 🗻 International Mountain Day
Y'all the best thing about living in Colorado is the mountains, in my personal opinion, and having them to shoot pictures with is just incredible! So head to your nearest mountain range and shoot some beautiful winter content (be sure to dress for the cold temps BTW!)
And if you're not near mountains, PicsArt is always my favorite app to add fun backgrounds and creative edits with!

7 . 12/12: Gingerbread House Day 🏚
One of my favorite traditions with Steven is buying a Gingerbread House kit to decorate together! Although they never turn out exactly how I envision, 😂 creating something holiday like this is a joy in itself! Photograph the process and/or film for a fun reel idea!

8 , 9 . 12/17: 🥞 National Maple Syrup, Ugly Christmas Sweater Day 🎅
Another two for one holiday in December! And a delicious one at that! My plans for that day? Put on my favorite Christmas Sweater, make up some pancakes, pour on that maple syrup, and snap away!

Another yummy day to celebrate in December! Most of us will be baking this holiday season, so photograph your work after or during your fun experience!

Ugh, this holiday probably means the most to me out of this list! I am absolutely obsessed with the idea of a World Peace Day photoshoot and am so excited to create something beautiful to celebrate! Join me! (Some ideas to include/photoshop in your photo since this is kind of a hard concept; doves, glitter, white, birdcages, etc.)

1 2 . 12/26: Candy ❤ Cane 🤍 Day
What's more Christmas than a Candy Cane? I mean, it's one of the most traditional candies to enjoy this time of year! So keep that holiday content rolling for one more day past X-Mas and shoot with this fantastic prop idea! (No one will mind 😋)
