Designing a shoot top to bottom, with props, the perfect outfit, the right colors, really brings me a ton of joy - but it doesn't bring my wallet that same fulfillment. 😂
.
Finding ways to easily take your photos up a level without breaking the bank is absolutely necessary as a content creator. And one of the ways I feel like you can accomplish this efficiently is through props, backdrops, and your photoshoot styling.
.
Here are a few of my favorite places to buy props and how I brought their products/props to life in my Valentine's Day content!
.
Party City
Party City is probably my favorite place to buy props, their stuff always looks adorable and is pretty nice quality for the price! Also, I usually look online at their selection and then place a pickup order in store - which makes things REALLY convenient (almost too convenient 🤑🙈)
.
Target
I mean who doesn't LOVE Target. Even I was a skeptic for years, it's truly the most magical place. Target is always switching up its selection to match the season and holiday, which I love. I also am obsessed that they keep their staples like fringe backdrops, streamers, etc. in stock constantly!
.
King Soopers (or your local Grocery Store)
THE BEST PLACE TO BUY YOUR PHOTOSHOOT FLOWERS! They have a huge selection of really nice bouquets with a wide price range, which is so appreciated! Sometimes my photoshoot is all about the floral design, so I'll spend a little extra, and sometimes I don't need such gran photos and their lowest price arrangement is perfect!
.
Dollar Store/Tree
I mean, do I need to say more? Everything is around a dollar, and you can get so many different items ranging from party and holiday decor, food, and even pick up a few household necessities while you're there! 😂 Who else thinks we need to come up with a dollar tree photo challenge?!
.
Here's how I brought my props from these stores to life!
